An update: My gaming computer is completely down, so I have no way of doing FS right now, nor for the foreseeable future. I wasn't doing much flying anyway, so no big loss. However, I didn't want all those airframes sitting around rotting, so I sold them off.

I'm now sitting on v$10 million in the bank and earning v$500k annually. Not a bad way to make a buck for doing nothing, eh?

Hopefully, I'll get my computer back up and running (or get a replacement) and get back into it at some point. In the meantime, I'll still cruise the forums on a semi-regular basis.

Bummer to hear that your rig is down. Also too bad to hear that Hellgate is on hold. $500K pension ain't bad though!

Just got an update from the shop...they probably have to do a reformat of my entire hard drive. That will wipe out all my repaints, downloads, etc. Ugh.

Heheh. I've made $400k+ in interest without ever firing up my sim since last May. Should hit $500k+ by May.

Wow, it's been a long time since anyone has been on here. I really want to get back into it. Hopefully our house will sell soon and we can move into a bigger one with room for my gaming computer.

Bank balance has been steadily increasing and total interest is now at about $1 million.

I saw my old FBO, W12 went up for auction with 3 other FBO's and sold for $320k. He paid $300k for W12 so not a good business deal there. Especially considering he has at least tripled the amount of fuel and supplies since he bought it from me.
